Weekly Update 2/23/2022

Hi FHMS community! We hope you had a fun and relaxing winter break! Here are this week's updates.

Needs:

Please consider volunteering on the PTSA board for the 2022-2023 school year. You can even volunteer with a friend, as all board positions can be shared by two people.  We really need members to step up and take a leadership role. Without your help, PTSA cannot exist. To nominate yourself or someone else, go to Nomination Form. For questions, contact Kristen Dorwin at kdorwin@gmail.com

Book donations: Sandburg/DCS Elementary is asking for used 4th &5th grade reading level book donations for their upcoming book rodeo. Please drop off your book donations in the blue bins outside of the Sandburg office on Feb 24th and 25th.

FHMS is collecting new and gently used games for the students to play during lunch. See the list of requested games and sign up here:  Sign Up Genius Link

Sundaes for Scholars: thanks to all the volunteers who signed up to help with serving the students their sundaes. Dr. Mehlberg has asked for donations of sundae toppings (she is purchasing sprinkles and chocolate sauce). If you would like to donate another topping, please email Dr. Mehlberg at smehlberg@lswd.org.
