Hello Finn Hill Middle School Community,

 We’re so excited to welcome our new and returning families for the 2022-2023 school year! The PTSA is excited to partner with you all to serve our school community and most importantly our students.

As always, our PTSA core mission is to strengthen the learning environment for every student, to be a relevant resource for our families, teachers, staff, and administration, and to be a staunch advocate for the education and welfare of every child. In order to accomplish this mission, the PTSA works to organize volunteers, connect the community with the school, and direct our budgets in a fiscally responsible way.

We would like to invite you to become part of the PTSA team, either as a volunteer, a member of the board (we still have a few key positions open), or as a member. There are a number of reasons to join the PTSA and help to build our school community.

• You’ll be showing your student that you value their school and education
• As a volunteer, you will gain valuable experience, build your skills, share your experience, and help make the school year great for our students and educators.
• You will have the opportunity to meet other parents or teachers within our community.
• PTSA is a forum for exchanging ideas and by attending our general meetings you will be more informed about what is happening at our school
• Finally, you will be helping to make a difference for your student and the broader learning community.

Your donations and your volunteer efforts are critical to the success of our PTSA and our school. We are still missing a few key roles on the PTSA- VP of School Services and VP of Family and Community Engagement. These roles are so important in making all the great events, student programs, and community support happen. If you are interested, please contact president@fhmsptsa.org to learn more about how you can become involved. In addition, please consider donating to the PTSA through our Pass the Hat fundraiser, as these donations allow us to continue deliver key programs for the school.
